Thea is having a hard time fitting in. After losing her parents in a freak tornado accident, she was forced to move in with her uncle and aunt in Kansas, of all places. The kids at school have been less than welcoming and her new guardians mean well but, they aren't really equipped to handle a bored teenage orphan.
To help her settle in and connect with others they give her the hottest new tech on the market, an immersive VR system. After a night that pushes Thea to her limits she decides to try it out and enter the world everyone has been talking about - Nexus.
Nexus Online will be a LitRPG series focusing on retelling classic stories to a modern audience. The first book in the series, Oz, will explore the land over the rainbow in late 2024.
